His Excellency Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, emphasized that strengthening strategic partnerships between government entities contributes to providing safe and sustainable solutions that support Sharjah’s food security system—considered one of the most vital enablers of sustainable development in the emirate. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to elevate government services and facilitate procedures to encourage citizen investment in the agricultural and livestock sectors.

The Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock, in collaboration with the Sharjah Private Education Authority, launched the “Baba Sultan Ambassadors for Healthy Food” program aimed at raising awareness about the importance of healthy eating among the community and school students. This initiative reflects the Department’s ongoing efforts to instill positive dietary behaviors in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah. The program seeks to promote proper dietary practices through awareness of healthy nutrition and support for safe and organic options, contributing to a supportive environment for healthy and safe food choices. The launch ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, H.E. Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, and H.E.
